The management and employees of SMC Corporation Limited as well as our business partners were able to raise funds in the amount of 1,064,356 Baht and donated it to "Window of Memories Project" of The Thai Red Cross Society last February 5th, 2015.
"Window of Memories Project" is a project of The Thai Red Cross Society to fund the purchasing of Next Generation Sequencing machine, an Advanced Detection of Genes, which cost 15 million Baht. The Next Generation Sequencer can detect diseases caused by infections, non-infectious diseases and diseases of unknown cause. It can also help analyze different kinds of brain diseases.
The Next Generation Sequencer will be donated to the Molecular Biology Laboratory for Neurological Disease Department of the King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital.
