It was said that “if you see a child without a smile, you should give him/her yours”. That is exactly what SMC Corp. Ltd. did last December 26, 2010. Together with various local government units and different business organizations in Kanchanaburi province, reached out to rural area to extend their support and help to kids in need of school supplies.
Held at Wat Hindad School, Thong Pa Phom, Kanchanburi with a total of 209 students, “Friends & Friends”, as what the gathering is called, gave primary school supplies to kids including food, sport equipments and cash assistance to help rebuild the school for a better learning environment for the kids.
The studying environment of the school is challenging but that didn’t stop those kids to go to school everyday. And because of their determination and eagerness to learn, SMC Corp Ltd is moved by their dedication. That is why we are committed to support the school’s project to improve a suitable and comfortable place for those kids to learn study and play so that they too will have a bright tomorrow. As one famous author once said, “The youth are the future of the nation.”
