Extrusion Heads

Single or Multiple-Parison (Multiple Cavitation/Cavity) Extrusion Heads
The single and multiple extrusion heads are available with side feed and center feed designs. Each head is a single head fitted to a manifold splitting the stream of melt into the appropriate number of channels. The flow of each channel is controlled for quantity by an adjusting screw. A view stripe option is available for all head sizes in single or double execution.

Parison Thickness Control
All heads can be optionally equipped with an electronically controlled parison thickness controller. Actuators are available with a hydraulic or electric drive system.

Co - Extrusion Heads
The SMC co-extrusion heads are compact, reliable, and have an excellent functional capability. They allow accurate control of the distribution and thickness of each layer as that is the most critical part in the production of multi-layers containers. The heads are available in versions up to 6 (six) layers also with a variety of output capacities.
